Take the pressure off your New Years plans: Start 2026 with a relaxing Jazz Afternoon during the closing weekend of All Aboard for the Holidays at the Botanical Center.

Join the Max Claros Trio for an hour of familiar jazz standards and some seasonal tunes. And get in your last runs of train fun before they leave our station! January 4th is the last day of All Aboard for the Holidays. Free with admission to the Botanical Center.

About Max Claros
Maximus Claros is a young drummer that has played jazz/funk all across Rhode Island. Claros performed on Lincoln Center Campus through the Jazz Arts Collective. He received a scholarship to play in NYC getting mentorship from many great musicians including Douglas Marriner, Kenny Washington, Charles McPherson, and Dion Parson. At 14 years old, Maximus was drumming in venues like Sons of Liberty, Chans, Bar and Board, and more. Now he’s bringing his trio to the Botanical Center to vibe with the plants, the people, and more.

Roger Williams Park Conservancy is hosting a screening of this impactful documentary created by @momsfirstus about what motherhood looks like in America today, at the @rwpbotanicalcenter.

Joining us for the screening and a Q&A panel after the film are representatives from local organizations @collectiveactionri, @rikidscount, and @unitedwayri. This open dialogue and opportunity for resource-sharing is designed to embody the film`s premise: that motherhood in America is not a private struggle but a collective one.
