It`s gonna be another hot one tomorrow – so swipe through these updates before heading to the park!

🌞 The Friday afternoon Partner Peace Walk with@nonviolenceinstitute is canceled on July 3 – we`ll pick it back up next Friday at noon!

🌞 @rilatinoarts` Teatro en El Verano originally scheduled for Friday evening is canceled, but you can catch the new opening date of La Broa en tu barrio next Tuesday, July 7, instead!

🌞 Food Truck Friday with @pvd_foodtruckevents is on – but starting at 5:30 PM instead of 5 PM! Plan to stop by a little later, and stay a little later (wraps up at 9 PM).

🌞 Movies in the Park with @pvdfilmfestival is happening as planned! The movie ("Sing") doesn`t start until sunset, when the temps start to cool down, so if you`re spending time outside this week, Friday night at the Boathouse Lawn is where to do it!

Stay cool, and visit our calendar for more details and events!

Groovin` Summer Movies continues this Friday, July 3, with "Sing" (2016)! Start the holiday weekend off right by heading over to Food Truck Friday (kicks off at 5 PM) for karaoke and easy dinner plans at Carousel Village, and then make your way to the Boathouse Lawn for the movie, starting at sundown!

We`re in for a week of hot weather, which means there`s no better time to be outside than later in the evening when the temps drop – but it doesn`t hurt to bring your own water and bug spray!

Special thanks to @pvdfilmfestival for making Movies in the Park possible, with support from @providencetourism and @@pvdparks, and to @pvd_foodtruckevents and @rwpzoo for hosting Food Truck Friday at Carousel Village!

THANK YOU to everyone who made Rosé in the Roses so memorable! Last Thursday, we celebrated the Conservancy and community, while giving a bittersweet send-off to RWPC’s outgoing board chair, Joe Pari.

Shout-out to @theprovidencedrumtroupe and @thesoundofgravity for filling the Botanical Center with magical sights and sounds – we can’t be the only ones still humming Pink Pony Club, right? 🤩 And to talented musicians Ashley Frith and @luisgilbertord for serenading guests throughout the night!

Stay tuned for a part-2 recap highlighting the rest of our amazing vendors and sponsors who made this year’s event one for the books!
