Bandstand

In 1901, Providence allocated funding for musical performances and the construction of a bandstand. The Bandstand was replaced and moved to its current location in 1915.

Betsey Williams Cottage

The historic Betsey Williams Cottage was the home to Park donor Betsey Williams and her sister Rhoda.

Botanical Center

One of the largest public indoor display gardens in New England, encompassing approximately 12,000 square feet of indoor gardens.

Carousel Village

A popular family destination in Roger Williams Park for gererations, Carousel Village offers fun for children of all ages throughout the year.

Clark Dalrymple Boathouse

Constructed in 1896, the Queen Anne style boathouse was a launching pad for boats and warming station for ice skaters. Today it hosts the Parks Department and Conservancy offices.

Gateway Center

The Gateway and Visitor’s Center for Roger Williams Park allows visitors to access information about the many free public events, amenities, and services in Roger Williams Park, the surrounding neighborhoods, and along the Broad Street Corridor.

Japanese Garden

A popular destination for photos and strolling, the Japanese Garden was created in 1936 with the assistance of the Works Progress Administration.

Museum of Natural History & Planetarium

Rhode Island’s sole natural history museum and public planetarium.

Roger Williams Park Zoo

Roger Williams Park Zoo provides visitors the opportunity to see animals from all over the globe – some more than a million years old.

Temple To Music

The Temple hosts annual concerts by the Rhode Island Philharmonic and is especially popular for yoga, wedding and graduation photos, and great Instagram selfies!.

The Casino

The Casino has been a social center for Rhode Island for over 120 years. The indoors includes a glorious ballroom as well as a dining room that is often used as a meeting room.

Victorian Rose Garden

Since the 1880s, many varieties of roses have been grown and bred in the Victorian rose gardens located across from the Casino.

Lovers Retreat Bridge

Lovers Retreat Bridge is a charming historic footbridge in Roger Williams Park, connecting the Betsey Williams Cottage with the Casino. 
It’s officially one month until Rosé in the Roses on June 11! 🌹We can’t wait to see everyone dressed in their garden party best – including statement-making headwear! Thank you to all the fashionistas who attended our Fascinator Workshop at the Botanical Center and created some show-stopping floral accessories with the help of instructor Michelle Carden. 

Even if you missed the workshop, you have full permission to get creative with your Rosé look! Get your tickets by the end of May to enjoy an evening of mingling at the @rwpbotanicalcenter and Rose Maze, delicious bites by Ellie’s Bakery and Morin’s Catering, Mahjong with the @thegildedbirds, entertainment from the @theprovidencedrumtroupe, live music by @luisgilbertord and Ashley Frith, and more!
