We are excited to offer a 2nd session of the 6-week series, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention led by Colleen Shea. This series is hosted by the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center and co-sponsored by the Roger Williams Park Conservancy. All classes will take place in-person in the tranquil setting of the Botanical Center on Wednesdays from 9am-10am, March 16th – April 13th. Experience how Tai Chi can embrace Your mind, body, and spirit! Sign up for the whole series or individual sessions!

“Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention” is a program developed by Dr. Paul Lam, founder of the Tai Chi for Health Institute. This program is supported for safety and effectiveness by the CDC, and the Arthritis Foundations of America, Australia, and Arthritis Care UK.

What is Tai Chi? Known for its health benefits, the art of Tai Chi is a continuous flow of slow, gentle movements. In this 6-week series, you will learn warm-up movements, and a short beginner level sequential form to improve your balance, coordination, and agility.

Colleen is a native Rhode Islander, and prior to establishing her business in 2015, Be Balanced Tai Chi and Qigong, LLC, Colleen was a special Educator in the Providence Public Schools.

Note: Masks are required inside the greenhouses.

Cost:
