Summertime Yoga for Every Body with Mimi Budnick at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center

This summer series will run on July 8th-August 13th th on Friday and Saturday mornings from 9am-10am.

Join us for “Yoga for Every Body” with Mimi Budnick, inside the beautiful greenhouses at RWP Botanical Center! Mimi describes her class as: “Accessible yoga, good for beginners and long-time practitioners alike. A well-rounded practice to build strength, release tension in the body, and cultivate peace in the mind and the heart.”

Participants must bring their own yoga mat & water. Participants may check in at the RWPBC ticket booth as early at 8:30am and are invited to stay and enjoy the lush gardens and greenhouses after class. Did you know that Fridays are Open Paint + Amateur Photography Day at RWPBC? After class stick around to mingle with like-minded artists and nature lovers. Guests are welcome to bring a sketch pad, watercolors, washable paints and to take photographs.

RWPBC does NOT have yoga mats available.

Non-Member Price: $10 per session

RWPBC Member Price: $8.50 per session

Mimi Budnick is a queer yoga teacher and herbalist based in Providence, Rhode Island who draws from her long history as a community organizer and adult educator to connect with her students and create an environment that feels open and welcoming.

Mimi has been a student of yoga since 2001 and received her Vinyasa teacher certification in 2010 from Tom Gillette at Eyes of the World. Eventually gravitating to the more subtle sides of yoga, Mimi has done intensive study in trauma sensitive yoga, yin, and restorative yoga. Mimi is certified as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant through the American Institute of Vedic studies and has recently begun the pathway to becoming a clinical herbalist at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism.

She offers individual consultations, classes, workshops, and trainings that guide people into deeper and more meaningful connection with themselves, their community, and the world around them.

Even if you missed the workshop, you have full permission to get creative with your Rosé look! Get your tickets by the end of May to enjoy an evening of mingling at the @rwpbotanicalcenter and Rose Maze, delicious bites by Ellie’s Bakery and Morin’s Catering, Mahjong with the @thegildedbirds, entertainment from the @theprovidencedrumtroupe, live music by @luisgilbertord and Ashley Frith, and more!
