Tuesdays, 9am-10am
RWP Botanical Center

Bring your mat, block, and get ready to stretch. Molly C. Greene brings over fifteen years of practice to our space for a restorative morning session (an hour before we open to the public so it’s nice and private).

Molly teaches us to tend the physical and energetic body with sequences inspired by Ayurveda and the chakra system. With a focus on the fundamentals of asana, pranayama, and meditation, we’re encouraging connection, compassion, embodiment, and authenticity.

A note about the environment:

The Botanical Center is a living, breathing, chemical-free greenhouse. Our yoga class is set in the middle of our Med Room. During the early spring, you might find yourself surrounded by fragrant blooming orange blossoms. In the warmer months (June-August), the greenhouse will be warmer. Bring water and dress appropriately! Windows will open to allow a light breeze.

Yoga students are welcome to explore and enjoy the rest of the Botanical Center for the day after class. Buy your tickets online or in person at the ticket booth!

Groovin' Summer Movies continues this Friday, July 3, with "Sing" (2016)! Start the holiday weekend off right by heading over to Food Truck Friday (kicks off at 5 PM) for karaoke and easy dinner plans at Carousel Village, and then make your way to the Boathouse Lawn for the movie, starting at sundown!

We're in for a week of hot weather, which means there's no better time to be outside than later in the evening when the temps drop – but it doesn't hurt to bring your own water and bug spray!

Special thanks to @pvdfilmfestival for making Movies in the Park possible, with support from @providencetourism and @@pvdparks, and to @pvd_foodtruckevents and @rwpzoo for hosting Food Truck Friday at Carousel Village!
Join us for a Partner Peace Walk tomorrow at 12 PM! All are welcome to take a stroll with us and @nonviolenceinstitute to connect, talk, and enjoy the outdoors – meet at the Boathouse at Roger Williams Park. These walks take place every Friday, except for holidays.
THANK YOU to everyone who made Rosé in the Roses so memorable! Last Thursday, we celebrated the Conservancy and community, while giving a bittersweet send-off to RWPC’s outgoing board chair, Joe Pari.

Shout-out to @theprovidencedrumtroupe and @thesoundofgravity for filling the Botanical Center with magical sights and sounds – we can’t be the only ones still humming Pink Pony Club, right? 🤩 And to talented musicians Ashley Frith and @luisgilbertord for serenading guests throughout the night!

Stay tuned for a part-2 recap highlighting the rest of our amazing vendors and sponsors who made this year’s event one for the books!
