Join the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center on the third Sunday of every month from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM for Family Fun Craft Day, featuring a different take-home project each month.

On July 21, create a “ripple” effect by painting a reusable bag in the style of Huichol yarn paintings, with ocean or freshwater animals surrounded by water ripples. Use this bag proudly whenever you shop and avoid single-use plastic. Get tips on more ways to reduce single use plastics, one step at a time! Bags and other materials provided.

Cost: Materials fee of $10 per craft. General admission fees apply.

Pre-registration required. Email [email protected] to register or for questions.

Thank you to @ocean_state_ellary for hosting Monday evening gentle yoga sessions these past couple of months, and to everyone who joined us on the lawn outside the Betsey Williams Cottage! As the evenings get cooler, we're ending the season a little early, so we won't be gathering next Monday, September 21. Enjoy the start of autumn! 🍂
Join us this Friday at 10 AM for a Save the Bay cleanup at Roger Williams Park! September means it's International Coastal Cleanup season – you'll be among thousands of participants worldwide collecting and documenting what you pick up to contribute important data on marine (including watershed) debris, while helping beautify your favorite park!

Sign up (link in bio) to be part of the cleanup at the softball fields on September 18!
