Join Books & Banter for our discussion on this month’s pick, Dot in the Universe by Lucy Ellman. This sharp, darkly funny, and deeply philosophical novel follows Dot, a young woman who dies unexpectedly and finds herself navigating an afterlife that’s as absurd and unpredictable as life itself. Through Dot’s witty and irreverent voice, Ellman tackles big questions about existence, morality, and what it means to be human—all with biting humor and surreal twists.

Expect a mix of satire, existential musings, and quirky characters that will keep you thinking long after you’ve turned the last page. If you enjoy novels that challenge conventions and make you laugh while pondering life’s mysteries, this one’s for you!
