Youth Climate Conference

Saturday, November 8, 9:15 AM – 4:30 PM

Roger Williams Park Zoo

Join us and Rhode Island Environmental Education Association for an exciting all-day event for youth ages 14–18 at the Zoo. This immersive experience combines learning, connection, and action, all focused on climate change and environmental leadership.

After the event, teams will have the opportunity to receive support and apply for funding to turn their ideas into action. What’s Included:

Hands-on climate + sustainability activities
Teamwork, public speaking & leadership skills
Create a local climate action plan
Chance to receive funding & mentorship
Surprise guest speaker (stay tuned!)

Participants must register in teams of 3–6 youth (ages 14-18) with an adult mentor (at least 21 years old). Registration closes: November 3, 2025 at 5:30 pm.
