Join the next quarterly community meeting to hear about efforts to improve and preserve Roger Williams Park, presented by the Roger Williams Park Conservancy in partnership with the Providence Parks Department.

  • Learn about Roger Williams Park’s miles of beautiful trails and the process of restoring them from Landscape Designer Mike Lusi.
  • Hear updates on Park improvement projects and upcoming events.
  • Ask questions about plans for the Park and share your ideas.
  • Enjoy light refreshments and meet community members and Park staff.

We`re so excited to welcome Julie Gearan back for another Slow Looking in Color and Line workshop at Roger Williams Park! This time, we`re gathering at the Rose Garden (near the Elmwood Ave. entrance, and across the street from the Betsey Williams Cottage) on Sunday, October 18, 12-2 PM.

Just bring yourself, your creative spirit, and a chair (if you`d like) to this free drawing workshop. All experience levels welcome, and supplies are provided!

Roger Williams Park Conservancy is hosting a screening of this impactful documentary created by @momsfirstus about what motherhood looks like in America today, at the @rwpbotanicalcenter.

Joining us for the screening and a Q&A panel after the film are representatives from local organizations @collectiveactionri, @rikidscount, and @unitedwayri. This open dialogue and opportunity for resource-sharing is designed to embody the film`s premise: that motherhood in America is not a private struggle but a collective one.
