Mary Malouin, a URI Master Gardener and leader of the volunteer Rose Maze crew, will offer a Rose Pruning Demonstration. The Rose Maze has over 700 roses with 20 varieties including drift, shrub, and climbing roses. In bloom from June through November, the roses create a beautiful setting for photography, contemplation, exploration, and fun.

This workshop is FREE and will take place in the Rose Maze in the back of the Botanical Center.

Pre-register 24 hours in advance by emailing: [email protected].

We're so excited to be partnering with @pechakuchapvd for this month's event at @rwpbotanicalcenter! Teaming up with @bloom_rhode_island and @the_ri_freedom_collective, the theme, "Out of the Woods," features stories about what it takes to emerge stronger, clearer, and ready to grow, whether traversing literal woods or making your way through brain fog.

Following the PechaKucha format of 20 images for 20 seconds each, this month's lineup of community presenters are sure to inspire and entertain!
