Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Zoo – Free Admission for Moms!

Calling all animal lovers! This Mother’s Day, celebrate Mom (and all the amazing moms out there) with a WILD adventure at the Zoo! Moms, grandmas and great-grandmothers get free admission on Sunday, May 10th! Meet incredible animal moms like Fiona, the Linne’s two-toed sloth and discover the wonders of the animal kingdom together.

There is no need to register or pre-purchase; simply check in at the booth upon arrival to claim your free ticket.

Groovin` Summer Movies continues this Friday, July 3, with "Sing" (2016)! Start the holiday weekend off right by heading over to Food Truck Friday (kicks off at 5 PM) for karaoke and easy dinner plans at Carousel Village, and then make your way to the Boathouse Lawn for the movie, starting at sundown!

We`re in for a week of hot weather, which means there`s no better time to be outside than later in the evening when the temps drop – but it doesn`t hurt to bring your own water and bug spray!

Special thanks to @pvdfilmfestival for making Movies in the Park possible, with support from @providencetourism and @@pvdparks, and to @pvd_foodtruckevents and @rwpzoo for hosting Food Truck Friday at Carousel Village!

Shout-out to @theprovidencedrumtroupe and @thesoundofgravity for filling the Botanical Center with magical sights and sounds – we can’t be the only ones still humming Pink Pony Club, right? 🤩 And to talented musicians Ashley Frith and @luisgilbertord for serenading guests throughout the night!
