Pam Gilpin, self-trained in the science of entomology and an estate gardener in the Newport area, will offer an informative photo essay and discussion about insects found in our gardens. Insects play an essential role in our gardens as pollinators, predators, recyclers of decomposing animal and plant material and as a source of food for birds, mammals and other insects. Learn how to create the right habitat so that you can have insects working for you in your garden.

Workshop is FREE. Preregister 24 hours in advance by emailing [email protected].
