Brew at the Zoo: August 24

5:00 – 8:00 pm

Tap into your wild side at Brew at the Zoo on Saturday, August 24th, an adults-only evening event, and sample hundreds of beers, hard seltzers, and ready-to-drink cocktails from dozens of local, regional and national breweries. Enjoy live musical entertainment by Pub Kings and Supertusk, animal encounters, and more at Rhode Island’s largest outdoor beer festival.

This is a 21+ event, and no person under the age of 21 will be permitted (including infants). All attendees are required to show a valid ID. Rain or shine, tickets are non-refundable. See below for important event information.

As the seasons begin to change, it`s a great time to reconnect with the natural world and slow down. We`re excited to partner with the @rwpbotanicalcenter to offer a free Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) session on September 19 at 10 AM with Lee Ann. This guided experience invites you to breathe deeply, notice your surroundings, and open your senses to the sights, sounds, textures, and rhythms of the forest.

Lee Ann Freitas is the director of the Botanical Center and a Certified Forest Therapist, horticulturist, and a hardcore advocate for all things nature. She creates a welcoming and peaceful environment for participants to slow down, connect with nature, and be present.

The session is free, but registration is limited – sign up online (link in bio)!
