Volunteer Bulb Planting Sunday, December 7 at 11 AM Japanese Garden, hosted by RWP Botanical Center Volunteer opportunity! Dare face the cold for some bulb planting! We're planting bulbs in the Japanese Garden at Roger Williams Park. The Japanese Garden is not in the Botanical Center, but if you volunteer, admission is on us!

Thank you to all of our #401Gives donors and Roger Williams Park Conservancy supporters who came out for our Donor Appreciation Party! It was a wonderful chance to meet and mingle with new supporters and long-time park-lovers alike – and to take a walk to visit our new Conversation Nooks. Thanks to funding from AARP Rhode Island, these groups of 2-3 Adirondack chairs placed around the park encourage connection in the outdoors. Stop by the park`s new best seats in the house next time you`re visiting!

And the Boathouse Cafe has officially reopened for the season! They`re open daily (weather-permitting), serving up gourmet wood grilled pizzas, flatbread sandwiches, and salads, along with beer, wine, and more. 🍻

Rosé in the Roses

Rosé in the Roses is Roger Williams Park Conservancy’s signature garden party fundraiser, bringing together park patrons, advocates, community leaders, local businesses, friends, and neighbors for an evening in support of Providence’s treasured public park. Guests can sip wine, enjoy bites from Russell Morin Catering and French macarons from Ellie’s Bakery, explore the greenhouses and blooming Rose Maze, enjoy live music and mahjong, and celebrate the Conservancy’s free community programs.
