RESCHEDULED FROM TUESDAY TO THURSDAY DUE TO THE ARRIVAL OF TROPICAL STORM ISAIAS

The Summer Beats pop-up concert series with FirstWorks features live, socially distanced performances with local and international flavor. This week’s featured artist is master percussionist Sidy Maiga, bringing the rhythms of West Africa to the beautiful setting of the park on a summer evening. Grab your mask, picnic blanket, and lawn chair and join us at the Roger Williams Park Dalrymple Boathouse Lawn (across from the Carousel Village – see map) for sets at 6:30 and 7:15 PM.  Financial support for the Summer Beats series comes from the City of Providence Parks Department and the Department of Arts, Culture, and Tourism, and from individual donors and foundations.
