Roger Williams Park is a 435 acre oasis in the heart of one the most densely populated areas of Rhode Island. The woodlands and large ponds provide an ideal place for birds to rest and feed on their migration northwards. Join the Museum of Natural History to search for the many migrants and summer residents that can be found in the park. Wear sturdy shoes and bring binoculars. Meet at the Museum of Natural History.

Program free as part of the RWP Conservancy spring tours series.

Children under age 4 are not permitted. Pets are not permitted. Pre-registration is preferred. Call 401.680.7248 or email [email protected] to register.

We`re so excited to welcome Julie Gearan back for another Slow Looking in Color and Line workshop at Roger Williams Park! This time, we`re gathering at the Rose Garden (near the Elmwood Ave. entrance, and across the street from the Betsey Williams Cottage) on Sunday, October 18, 12-2 PM.

Just bring yourself, your creative spirit, and a chair (if you`d like) to this free drawing workshop. All experience levels welcome, and supplies are provided!

Roger Williams Park Conservancy is hosting a screening of this impactful documentary created by @momsfirstus about what motherhood looks like in America today, at the @rwpbotanicalcenter.

Joining us for the screening and a Q&A panel after the film are representatives from local organizations @collectiveactionri, @rikidscount, and @unitedwayri. This open dialogue and opportunity for resource-sharing is designed to embody the film`s premise: that motherhood in America is not a private struggle but a collective one.
