Join the Providence Urban Wildlife Conservation Partnership for our annual freshwater fishing event in Roger Williams Park! Learn how to fish in the freshwater ponds of Roger Williams Park alongside fishing experts, the RI Department of Environmental Management, and the Providence Police Department. All equipment will be provided. All levels (from beginners to experts) are welcome to participate. Activities and games available for all ages. This event is FREE and open to the public. Ven al evento de pesca de agua dulce, en El Parque Roger Williams, Templo de Musica el 30 de junio, 3:30pm-5:30pm. Aprenda a pescar en los estanques de agua dulce del parque Roger Williams junto a expertos en pesca y el Departamento de Gestión Ambiental and y el Departamento de Policía de Providence. Todo el equipo será disponible. El evento es GRATIS y abierto para todo el público. The first Gentle Yoga in the Park session is this evening! 🧘

Yoga with Ellary Gamache (@ocean_state_ellary) takes place every Monday at 6 PM starting July 13. Bring your yoga mat, comfy clothes, and open mind to relax in the shade of the historic Sycamore tree in front of the Betsey Williams Cottage. This 18+ class intends to be an accessible, inclusive, and welcoming space for all bodies – no experience necessary!

Free weekly classes take place Mondays through Sept. 7 (except Aug. 31), weather depending; no sign-up needed. Follow us for updates!
