Roger Williams Park Conservancy invites beginning but aspiring photographers to join local photographer Jose Ramirez for Saturday morning photography instruction. The Park will be your subject! The instructor will meet with your class, then you will spend time in the Park applying your new photography skills. Bring your own camera phone and you will learn some simple techniques to take terrific photos everyday!

All are welcome. Advanced registration required. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration fee can be waived upon request by emailing the Roger Williams Park Conservancy.

Instructor:

Jose Ramirez is a locally based photographer who loves Roger Williams Park. He moves in all genres and works on not confining himself to a style. He brings social commentary with his images both of the world he sees and what he creates. You can see more of his work at crazylifephotography.net or on his Instagram account (IG @jram9808).

So many of us have memories of growing up visiting Roger Williams Park, including RWPC’s outgoing Board Vice-Chair Meredith Curren!

Supporting Roger Williams Park Conservancy on @401gives will help visitors create new memories at the Park by ensuring vibrant free programming — from the amazing @riphilharmonic Pops Concert to the dozens of other events every year — is always available!

Remember us on March 31 and sign up today to engage in peer-to-peer fundraising — it’s as simple as going to our 401 Gives page (link in bio) and hitting “Fundraise.”
