The Tour:

Roger Williams Park Conservancy and the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium invite you to join us for interpretive tours of the history, design, art, and culture of Roger Williams Park. Experts from the Park will lead small groups this summer and fall to points of interest that tell the story of the Park and the people behind it.

This tour will highlight the history and landscape design of the park, telling the story of how Roger Williams Park was donated and developed to be the People’s Park of Providence.

Attendance is limited to 15 people. Face coverings are recommended and social distancing will be enforced.

Times and Days:

5:30 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 13 (rain date TBD).

We may announce additional park tours in August.

Location:

Park tours will start at the Museum of Natural History.

The Tour Leader:

Renee Gamba is the director of the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium at Roger Williams Park.

Price:

Suggested donation for park tours $3, payable at the beginning of the tour.  Cash is preferred.

Take a moment to unwind and spend time with other people during two Mental Health Mornings on the calendar this winter: February 12 and March 14, 9-10 AM. 

Join us for an hour of calm in the magical space of the @rwpbotanicalcenter with a relaxed session guided by health expert Sandra Victorino, co-founder of the Latino Mental Health Network of Rhode Island with her own practice. Each session is free, but registration (link in bio) is required to keep the group to a reasonable size.
