RWP Museum of Natural History and Planetarium


Explore behind the scenes at the Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park with docent Mike McGinity. Discover the Museum’s archives and collection storage vaults while learning more about its history and collections in this adult program. Please note: access to the archives and vaults is by stairs only.

Program fee per session: $3 per adult/Free for museum members.  Pre-registration required. Capacity is limited. Pets are not permitted on walking tours. Children are not permitted in our lifelong learners programming. 

What are lifelong learners programs?
The Museum of Natural History and Planetarium offers tours, talks, drawing classes and other enriching programs designed for adult learners.. Programs are offered throughout the year for adult participants and vary by topic and format.

See you at Gentle Yoga at the Park this evening (Monday) at 6 PM! It's the perfect weather for a rejuvenating stretch outside! Join @ocean_state_ellary for a free, approachable yoga session outside the Betsey Williams Cottage.

We're excited to host another Save the Bay clean-up at the softball fields at Roger Williams Park on September 18, 10 AM-12 PM! Mark your calendars, and sign up online (link in bio) to be a part of this community effort to beautify the park, while also contributing important data to International Coastal Cleanup as we pick up trash and record what we find!
