The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is launched on December 25.  It is the largest, most powerful, and complex space telescope ever built. Learn about this amazing space-based telescope with hands-on activities, planetarium shows and more at the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park.

10am-4pm:  JWST Family Fun – crafts, activities and special quest
Cost: Free with Museum admission
Museum admission (does not include the Planetarium) is $2/ Museum Members Free/Free for children under age 4

2pm: Cosmic Origins Spectograph Fulldome Planetarium Show
Discover spectroscopy, the science of light, and learn how scientists study the Universe by deciphering clues hidden in light arriving from distant objects. Please note: This fulldome planetarium show DOES NOT include a brief tour of the night sky using the planetarium’s Zeiss star projector.
Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes Museum admission) is $5/Museum Members Free/Children MUST be age 4 and older. Planetarium show tickets must be purchased ONLINE.
