Back by popular demand, explore the geology of the northern part of the state with Museum of Natural History curator and geologist Matthew Becker. Examining the quartz vein at Diamond Hill and the cumberlandite locality, discover Rhode Island’s unique geologic history. Collecting is allowed. Please note: There may be some mild climbing. Please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes.

Program fee: $5 per person; $3 per person for museum members. Children under age 7 are not permitted. Pets are not permitted. Pre-registration required. For more information call (401) 680-7221.
