Meet near the Park’s picnic area on Maple and Pine Avenues (map)

Families are invited to join a FREE Lantern Walk, presented in partnership with Tinkergarten and hosted by the Roger Williams Park Conservancy.

Families will gather before dusk, light lanterns,* and enjoy an outdoor walk in the park. The Lantern Walk is designed to help kids big and small welcome and see the beauty in the darkness of the end of Daylight Savings time (aka “Fall back”) and embrace the transition to winter. Bundle up and bring a lantern or flashlight and your spirit of adventure! Click here to read more about the event.

Please pre-register through Tinkergarten’s website.

*NOTE: Lanterns must be battery operated; no fire/flames allowed. If you’d like to make your own lantern, see instructions here.

Thank you, RWP family!!! We may not have reached our goal, but all of you got us to over $7,000 – more than twice as much as last year! 🌳🎉

Whether you donated, shared our page with friends, liked our posts, or sent good vibes our way, we appreciate your support and investment in the People's Park! A gift to Roger Williams Park Conservancy builds and strengthens social and civic connections in a public green space we all share and steward.

With @pvdparks and our Park partners, we can't wait to show you another year of programming, community-building, and fun! 🌞

If you donated $100 or more, watch your email over the next week for an invite to a party celebrating you at the @rwpboathousecafe! 🥂
