“My goal was to create a pedestal to recognize South Providence residents. I started off meeting people on the street asking them to collaborate and soon the community was guiding me to those that have been community advocates for generations. Special thanks to Joseph P. Buchanan and Rochelle Lee for taking me around on visits through the neighborhoods and to ACT’s Micah Salkind for envisioning the Providence Commemoration Lab, an experimental program that made this and many other vibrant community works possible.” -Linsey Wallace

-Linsey Wallace
