A family program at the Museum of the Natural History and Planetarium

Chemistry is all around us! Join the Museum of Natural History for hands-on activities and experiments to explore and learn about the fascinating world of chemistry.

Special Chemistry Weekend Happenings
10 AM-4 PM: Chemistry Family Fun
Crafts, activities and special quest
Cost: Free with museum admission

1 PM-3 PM: Radical Reaction Activity Table
Cost: Free with museum admission

1 PM and 2 PM: Cosmic Origins Spectograph Fulldome Planetarium Show
Cost: $3 per person (includes museum admission)
Discover spectroscopy, the science of light, and learn how scientists study the Universe by deciphering clues hidden in light arriving from distant objects.
Please note: Children must be age 4 and older; this fulldome planetarium show DOES NOT include a brief tour of the night sky using the planetarium’s Zeiss star projector.
