Celebrate Earth during April Vacation at the Museum of Natural History

Discover the diversity of our amazing planet, past and present!  Explore what makes our planet so special with activity tables, crafts and daily planetarium shows. From the ground under your feet to the sky above, come celebrate planet Earth with the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park.

Special Earth Week Happenings:
10am-4pm: Earth Family Fun
Explore a variety of family-friendly, hands-on activities related to our local and global ecosystems.
Cost: Free with museum admission

2pm: Our Place in Space Planetarium Show
There’s no place like home! Begin your journey from right here on Earth as we venture from the museum for a whirlwind trip through the solar system. Take an unforgettable tour through our cosmic neighborhood as you explore the craters of Mercury, stormy Neptune and discover why Earth is so unique. The adventure does not end there as we explore nebulae and star clusters of our Milky Way Galaxy. (General Audience) 
Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes Museum admission) is $5/Museum Members Free/Children MUST be age 4 and older. Planetarium show tickets must be purchased ONLINE. Choose carefully and then confirm your selection, as all selections/sales are final. For safety reasons, Planetarium ticketholders are not permitted to enter the Planetarium once the show has begun.

See you at Gentle Yoga at the Park this evening (Monday) at 6 PM! It's the perfect weather for a rejuvenating stretch outside! Join @ocean_state_ellary for a free, approachable yoga session outside the Betsey Williams Cottage.

Reminder: no yoga next Monday, August 31 – so don't miss this week!
Today's Partner Peace Walk is canceled due to rain – see you next Friday at noon!
We're excited to host another Save the Bay clean-up at the softball fields at Roger Williams Park on September 18, 10 AM-12 PM! Mark your calendars, and sign up online (link in bio) to be a part of this community effort to beautify the park, while also contributing important data to International Coastal Cleanup as we pick up trash and record what we find!
