Roger Williams Park needs volunteers! The Providence Parks Department and the Roger Williams Park Conservancy have a lot in store for the Park in 2021 and you can help. If you love the Park and have some time and skills to share, we want to hear from you. We can put almost anyone to work making the Park a more vibrant place for everyone to enjoy, but we are especially excited to hear from volunteers who can help with these projects or skills:
- Learning more about plants with the Botanical Center
- Help the Botanical Center host another successful Fairy Garden Days fundraiser
- Tree care
- Communications
- Copywriting
- Photography
- Videography
- Social Media
- Data entry/Data management
- Finance
- Legal
- Marketing and design
- Events
Due to restrictions on social gatherings due to COVID19, we may ask volunteers to contribute remotely at first. As restrictions potentially ease we may be able to offer more opportunities.
