May and June have been busy months for volunteers stepping up to support the great work of the Providence Parks Department in Roger Williams Park. Thanks to the employees at Hasbro who helped beautify the park by planting over 200 irises. Thanks to the many individuals who helped restore the park’s ponds and lakes by cleaning up and planting along the park’s many miles of shoreline. Special thanks to Save the Bay, the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, One Tree Planted, and the whole Providence Parks Department team!
