Support FREE Programming at Roger Williams Park

The mission of the Roger Williams Park Conservancy is to sustain and enhance Roger Williams Park as a vibrant public space for all. The Conservancy serves its mission in part by offering a wide variety of FREE activities for audiences of all ages — activities that are especially abundant over the warmer months. This spring and summer…

  • Dozens of toddlers and their grown-up companions converged on the Temple to Music for stories, songs and rhymes during FREE pop-up storytimes.
  • Fitness enthusiasts and eager beginners gathered weekly for FREE fitness classes, from yoga to belly dance to high intensity workouts — all of which welcomed the community to get out and get active in the Park.
  • Hundreds of attendees, armed with blankets and picnics, joined friends and neighbors on Fridays at sunset for FREE Movies in the Park projected on the big screen.

There’s more free fun to come this fall, from tours and trail walks to family-friendly festivities!

YOU can help make these opportunities possible. Your tax-deductible gift — in any amount — ensures the Conservancy will continue to activate Roger Williams Park with a lively variety of events and programs, year round, and can keep activities free and accessible for all.

For updates on free activities and programs, visit the Conservancy’s events calendar.

Join us tomorrow for a free Mobile Photography Workshop at Roger Williams Park! 🌸 All you need is your phone camera and a passion for capturing the beauty of the park in spring! RWPC Program Manager José Ramirez (@jram9808) leads this fun and informative workshop.

It’s free to join, but space is limited, so sign up to reserve your spot (link in bio, or visit our event calendar at rwpconservancy.org).
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Hype Crew will bring a preview of The Greatest Show On Earth® to Food Truck Friday at Roger Williams Park, kicking off this summer’s Movies in the Park series on May 8! You will be treated to a high-energy mini performance featuring a variety of acts, including unicycles, jump rope acrobatics, balancing, and more – all building excitement for @ringling’s return to Providence!

This Friday, grab a bite to eat at 5 PM from one of the amazing food trucks at Carousel Village, and then head over to the Boathouse lawn (just across the street) for the Ringling Bros. preview show at 5:30 PM. Stick around to see The Greatest Showman at 8 PM!
