MNH Winter Wonderland Fun
Featured -
We can all use a little extra (ideally twinkling) lights in our lives! After the sun goes down, Roger Williams Park transforms into an illuminated wonderland. ✨

Along with the Holiday Lights Spectacular at the @rwpzoo , there are festive lit-up displays throughout the Park thanks to @pvdparks and our partners! Our own display on the Boathouse lawn was made possible by the #IlluminatePVD grant program from @providencetourism

What’s your favorite holiday light display at RWP this year? 🎄
Happy Winter Solstice! As the days gradually grow longer, enjoy peaceful winter walks at Roger Williams Park. ❄
Don't forget: our partners at Roger Williams Park are operating under different schedules for the holidays, but there's still lots going on this week and next! Visit their websites and social pages for more details and updates.

🌲 @rwpbotanicalcenter is open every Tues.-Sun., 10 AM-4 PM except for Dec. 25, 25, 31, and Jan. 1. See the festive trains all month and catch a Story Time with Chris this Saturday!

🐧 @rwpzoo is open every Thurs.-Mon., 10 AM-4 PM except for Dec. 24 & 25. Get tickets to see the Holiday Lights Spectacular (check for weather cancellations before you go) and save the date for free Zoo admission day on Dec. 27 (10 AM-3 PM).

✨ @rwpmuseum is open daily 10 AM-4 PM except for Dec. 25, 25, 31, and Jan. 1. Get tickets for Planetarium shows weekends at 2 PM, and visit Betsey Williams Cottage for an open house on Dec. 26!

Visit our calendar (link in bio) for more events for all ages this month, whether you're seeking a little merriment or a moment of mindfulness this holiday season.
Have you seen green Adirondack chairs appearing in Roger Williams Park? With funding from the @aarplivable #aarpcommunitychallenge grant program and the hard work of @pvdparks to install them, these Conversation Nooks invite visitors to sit, unwind, and connect with neighbors and loved ones.

Find four spots along Frederick C. Green Memorial Blvd. and near the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium.

Even in the winter months, we hope these seating nooks will offer a few moments of reprieve in the outdoors when neighbors need it most.
