Event Series: Yoga in the Park

At the Temple to Music (map)
Yoga at Roger Williams Park is back for an extended season, from May-September 2019! This introductory vinyasa flow class is open to all levels, from beginners to advanced, and will move at a gentle pace to establish strength, flexibility, and balance within a continuous sequence of postures. The class supports healthy alignment while honoring and exploring the connection between movement, breath and mindfulness.

Please arrive early to your first class to complete a waiver; must be signed by parent/guardian for those under 18. Bring your own yoga mat and any props you’d like to use. In case of inclement weather, please check the Conservancy’s social media accounts for event updates.

This class is presented free of charge by the Roger Williams Park Conservancy. Donations are welcome to support Park programs and preservation projects

INSTRUCTOR: Nikole McLeod (RYT 200) is a dedicated student and teacher of yoga, pranayama, and meditation. Her focus is on bringing a calm balance to body, mind, and spirit through the breath. Nikole’s classes incorporate meditation, mindfulness, and opportunities for exploration to find your personal edge and include an array of modifications for all levels. She encourages open-minded and compassionate awareness of oneself, and believes that the experiences yogis have on the mat are the foundation for living their best life. Nikole resides in Scituate, RI, and when not practicing yoga, she can be found exploring and hiking or cuddling with her 3 rescue pups!
