The Sonic Woods Arts Trail is an exciting new collaboration between Verdant Vibes, Casey Seymour Kim, the Roger Williams Park Conservancy, and the Providence Parks Department. Participants will be guided along the Pleasure Lake trail at Roger Williams Park, where they will discover poetry and illustrations by Casey Seymour Kim, and live music by members of Verdant Vibes. Participants will be invited to wander along the designated trail at their own leisure, enjoying the artistic offerings as well as the ability to generate their own response, if they choose.

Park at the Botanical Center and follow the trail along Pleasure Lake, across the bridge -or- park by the Museum and walk down the grassy hill behind the Museum towards Pleasure Lake.

About the Artists:

Stage actress Casey Seymour Kim has been working professionally in New England for the past 20 years. She has been a resident artist at both Perishable Theatre and the Gamm Theatre, and has created original work with Strange Attractor and for PVD Fringe. She is a current member of the improv troupe Improv Jones, and teaches theatre arts at Rhode Island College.

Verdant Vibes is a contemporary music collective based in Providence and dedicated to highlighting the diversity of music composition and performance of our time, and cross-pollinating ideas and influences. In doing so, it aims to build a greater community celebrating the work of living artists.
