MOVED TO SUNDAY DUE TO RAIN

The Class:

Roger Williams Park Conservancy invites beginning but aspiring photographers join local photographer Jose Ramirez for Saturday morning photography instruction. The Park will be your subject! The instructor will meet with your class, then you will spend time in the Park applying your new photography skills. Bring your own camera phone and you will learn some simple techniques to take terrific photos everyday!

Classes are capped at 15 people.  Attendees are asked to wear a face covering and maintain a 6-foot distance from non-family members during the class.

Times and Days:

9:00 A.M. – 11:00 P.M. SUNDAY, October 18.

Location:

Classes will start at the Dalrymple Boathouse across from the Carousel.

The Instructor:

Jose Ramirez is a locally based photographer who loves Roger Williams Park. He moves in all genres and works on not confining himself to a style. He brings social commentary with his images both of the world he sees and what he creates. You can see more of his work at crazylifephotography.net or on his Instagram account (IG @jram9808).

Price:

The suggested donation for this class is $10.  Financial support for the class is provided in part by the City of Providence Parks Department and Department of Arts, Culture, and Tourism.

 

La Clase:

El Roger Williams Park Conservancy invita a personas que aspiran a ser fotógrafos y principiantes, a reunirse con el fotografo local José Ramirez para una clase instructora el sábado por la mañana. El parque sera su modelo! El fotógrafo impartirá instrucciones y después usted podrá pasar un tiempo en el parque poniendo en practica lo aprendido. Traiga su teléfono inteligente con cámara y aprendera técnicas simples que lo ayudaran a tomar bellas fotos todos los días.

Hay un limite de 15 personas por clase. Les pedimos que traigan algo para cubrirse la cara y mantener 6 pies de distancia de personas que no son parte de su familia.

Las clases comenzaran en la casa de botes Dalrymple cerca del carousel.

José Ramirez es un fotografo local que ama el parque Roger Williams. El se mueve en todas los géneros de fotografía y no se confína a ningún estilo especifico. El trata de compartir un discurso social con las imágenes que captura así.
