Hello Fall! Weekend celebration in RWP

September 27-29th

Roger Williams Park – On the Boathouse Lawn

  • Friday, Sept. 27th 5 – 8
  • Saturday, Sept. 28th 12 – 8
  • Sunday, Sept. 29th 2 – 6

Join us for this family friendly celebration of fall in Roger Williams Park on the boathouse lawn, brought to you by the Roger Williams Park Conservancy and sponsored by RI Commerce Corporation and the Providence Tourism Council.

Join us for a full weekend of activities on the Boathouse Lawn – including illuminated and interactive art displays from Pneuhaus all weekend, the final Food Truck Friday of the season, a Saturday evening concert with Nova One and Ravi Shavi, and a Flamenco Rhode Island workshop and demonstration on Sunday. Games, arts and crafts, big bubbles, food trucks and more for lots of free fall family fun in the park.

Hello Fall Weekend has also been selected as the Rhode Island event for National Public Land’s Day!  National Public Lands Day is organized annually and led by the National Environmental Education Foundation, in partnership with the National Park Service.  National Public Land’s Day celebrates events that provide a chance for people to connect with their communities, fostering a kinship found among those working together for the greater good. It’s an opportunity to establish deep, meaningful connections for youth with nature by providing positive experiences outdoors.  Most importantly, it’s a showcase for America’s public lands and their capacity for providing education, recreation, and overall benefits to our physical and mental health.

#GivingTuesday2025 is just around the corner, and we get it – there are so many wonderful local nonprofits seeking support this time of year!

Why include Roger Williams Park Conservancy in your giving plan?

Behind the more than 50 free and low-cost programs hosted every year, the restoration of beloved historic structures still playing a role in the community today, and the expansive green spaces and waterways sustaining humans and wildlife alike, there are crucial partnerships and much hard work that goes into stewarding Roger Williams Park.

As Board Member Chris Lanen shares – and so many families can relate to! – "the Park provides [a] retreat into nature. Individually, it gives me a place to exercise and decompress. As a parent, it gives my child a magical place to play, explore, and learn throughout the year.”

Find the link to donate in our bio, with options for one-time or recurring gifts!
To all those celebrating, happy Thanksgiving from RWPC! Don’t forget: our trails and paths are always available for a rejuvenating post-feast walk! 🍂

We would love to hear what you’re thankful for about Roger Williams Park – is it a favorite piece of architecture or a serene place to retreat into nature? A favorite event or family outing that’s become a tradition? Let us know!
