Earth Day 2022: New Trees for Broad Street

This year on Earth Day the Conservancy was thrilled to partner with the Providence Parks Department, the Providence Forestry Division, One Tree Planted, AAA Northeast, and neighborhood volunteers to plant over 20 new trees near Broad Street in the park. The oaks, maples, redbuds, and other trees were especially selected to help increase the park’s tree canopy and shade. Enjoy this slide show and be sure to sign up to be a park volunteer to help out with future projects!

It’s a beautiful day for rosé! 🌹🥂 We’ll see you soon!
