Best of Rosé In The Roses

On June 1, the Roger Williams Park Conservancy and its sponsors were thrilled to host the first annual, sold out, Rosé In The Roses garden party fundraiser, in the beauty of the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center and Rose Maze. The Providence Parks Department and their volunteers work hard every day to make this unique public space special. The space was in its full glory as over 115 guests gathered to enjoy delicious food and wine, and watch some unique local entertainment. Congratulations to Mayor Jorge O. Elorza, and Mary Malouin and the entire Botanical Center rose garden volunteer team for receiving the Conservancy’s Horace Cleveland Award and the Community Rose Award.

Thanks to the Conservancy’s guests, supporters, and sponsors the event raised over $25,000 in funds and in-kind services to support our partnership with the Providence Parks Department. This enables the Conservancy to host more free programming, plant more trees and flowers, and help the Parks Department restore some of the park’s iconic landmarks.

If you missed this year’s party, mark your calendars for June 6, 2024 at the Roger Williams Park.

Thanks again to our event sponsors: Providence Parks Department, Russell Morin Catering and Events, Cricket RI, Francis Coppola Winery, Ten31 Productions, Allegra Printing, Artcraft Printing Co., Audrey and Ed Clifton, Gonzalo Cuervo and Francis Parra, Ellen Drown in Memory of Teresa Sheehan, and Shivan and Jyothi Subramaniam. Thanks as well to the event organizing committee: Audrey Clifton, Ellen Walbrun, Ellie O’Shea, Jennifer Dalton, Joe Pari, Melissa Carden, and Ruth Fain.

To enjoy some highlights from the party, enjoy the slides below. See you next year!
