Moon Walks in Roger Williams Park 

NEW TIME 8:30 – 9:30 & MEETING AT THE MUSEUM

Meet at the RWP Museum or Natural History (map)

Join us for an evening walk to admire the upcoming full moons in the beauty of the Park by moonlight. Learn more about the night sky and join fellow night owls on this informal free community event. Co-hosted by the RWP Conservancy and the Museum of Natural History.  Open to all ages and abilities Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Reflective or light colored clothing is a good idea.

We`re so excited to welcome Julie Gearan back for another Slow Looking in Color and Line workshop at Roger Williams Park! This time, we`re gathering at the Rose Garden (near the Elmwood Ave. entrance, and across the street from the Betsey Williams Cottage) on Sunday, October 18, 12-2 PM.

Just bring yourself, your creative spirit, and a chair (if you`d like) to this free drawing workshop. All experience levels welcome, and supplies are provided!

Roger Williams Park Conservancy is hosting a screening of this impactful documentary created by @momsfirstus about what motherhood looks like in America today, at the @rwpbotanicalcenter.

Joining us for the screening and a Q&A panel after the film are representatives from local organizations @collectiveactionri, @rikidscount, and @unitedwayri. This open dialogue and opportunity for resource-sharing is designed to embody the film`s premise: that motherhood in America is not a private struggle but a collective one.
