Movie in the Park

Friday, September 30, 2016, 7 pm, Boathouse Lawn (across from Carousel Village)

The 4th (and final) in series of outdoor movies at Roger Williams Park!  Join us for a screening of Despicable Me (2011), an animated tale about supervillain Gru (Steve Carell), a man who delights in all things wicked, who hatches a plan to steal the moon. Surrounded by an army of little yellow minions and his impenetrable arsenal of weapons and war machines, Gru prepares to vanquish all who stand in his way. But nothing in his calculations and groundwork has prepared him for his greatest challenge: three adorable orphan girls (Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Elsie Fisher) who want to make him their dad.  This film is rated PG. Run time is 1 hour, 35 minutes.
